Landings:2018
'Landings 2018' is a collection of current work by students and staff of the Online MA Photography course at Falmouth University. My exhibition as part of this international participatory exercise consists of abstract cyanotypes with graphical overlay.
"Using re-purposed found-images the overlays depict path ways and routes, blocks and links in the ways of communicating. These communication paths lead the viewer to their own interpretation of what lies under it. Perhaps the overlay is a barrier to the knowledge underneath? But these can be seen as peelable, removeable, lifting any hindrance to the ‘knowledge’ partially obscured."
Details of the original found images can be viewed here.
