Landings:2018 Found Images
Andrew Barrow's contribution to Landings 2018 displays a series of unique cyanotypes overlaid with adaptations of found images. This page details the original images re-used. To view their re-purposing please view the Landings 2018 gallery.
"Using repurposed found-images the overlays depict path ways and routes, blocks and links in the ways of communicating. These communication paths lead the viewer to their own interpretation of what lies under it. Perhaps the overlay is a barrier to the knowledge underneath? But these can be seen as peelable, removeable, lifting any hindrance to the ‘knowledge’ partially obscured."
